On Sunday morning, we had the amazing privilege of hearing four testimonies of faith in Jesus Christ, followed by the baptisms of those four individuals. If you missed the service, you can watch the testimonies and baptisms below.

Weekly Schedule

05 May 2018
0

We hope you will join us this coming Sunday and Wednesday (and every Sunday and Wednesday). Below is our weekly lineup.

Sundays:

9:30 a.m. – Family Groups
–Family groups are Bible study fellowships for all ages – children, youth and adults. Nursery is included for infants and toddlers, too. We consider family groups to be an essential ministry for discipleship and relationships.

10:40 a.m. – Morning Worship Service
–Morning worship is an essential time of growing in God’s Word together. It’s that time of the week when most of our church family is all together for the purpose of worshiping our Lord and building up His body. For those who are interested, we also provide nursery (toddlers and infants) and children’s ministry (kindergarten and below) during our morning worship services.

6:00 p.m. – Prayer & Praise
–Prayer & Praise is our Sunday evening worship service when we gather to praise our God, pray for our church family, community, nation and the world, and talk about how we can better live our lives on mission throughout each day.

Wednesdays:

5:45 p.m. – Evening Meal
–Our Wednesday evening meal is a great time of fellowship and encouragement. Everyone is invited to join us for great food and fun together.

6:30 p.m. – Prayer and Bible Study / TeamKID / Youth Group
–With ministries for all ages (both children and adults), Wednesday evenings provide a great recharge for the middle of the week. The events include our adults’ Bible study fellowship (from 6:30 – 7:30), youth group (from 6:15 – 7:30 for grades 6-12), and TeamKID (from 6:15 – 7:30 for all children who are elementary-aged and below). During our summer months (June – August), we have “Family Fellowship Devotions” (6:30 – 7:30), where we encourage everyone of all ages to join us for an informal time of fellowship from 6:30 – 7:00, followed by a Bible study and discussion time from 7:00 – 7:30.

NOTE: To get more information on specific ministries, please click HERE or contact us. For updates, special events and cancellation notices, please follow us on Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram, check out our NEWS page or download the free MyRichland app (right).

Can you help us?

30 Apr 2018

Not everyone will get their hands dirty, but we can definitely use your help this Saturday, May 5th, beginning at noon. If you are able to help, even if just for an hour, we can use you. We have a great deal of work that needs to be done both inside and outside the church building, and there are jobs for all skill levels, whether it’s cleaning, organizing, fixing up, keeping up, or building maintenance.

We will be here from at least 12 – 5 p.m. If you have any questions or want more information, please contact us.

Also, the youth will be hanging out for supper and a movie after the work day is done. Hope you can join us!

Is there a more applicable and important question than, “What are your meaning and purpose?” Finding Meaning –  our Sunday morning sermon series through the book of Ecclesiastes – continues tomorrow. Considering the futility of temporary things, Ecclesiastes has a lot to teach us and applies to each of our lives. Please join us!

Also, tomorrow is Youth Sunday, so our Richland youth will be serving in additional ways during our time of worship, including singing, praying and sharing a testimony.

As always, we have family groups each Sunday at 9:30 and worship at 10:40. We hope you’ll join us on Sundays and Wednesdays!

Here is the anticipated 5-week schedule of the remaining messages in our Finding Meaning series:

April 29: “Futility of Religion” (Ecclesiastes 5)

May 6: “Futility of Money” (Ecclesiastes 5-6)

May 13: “Futility of Wisdom” (Ecclesiastes 7-8)

May 20: “Futility of Death & Foolishness” (Ecclesiastes 9-10)

May 27: “Futility of Life” (Ecclesiastes 11-12)

Each Wednesday evening, our church has activities for all ages, including prayer meeting and Bible study for adults. Recently, we have been doing “Ask the Pastor” for our Bible study, giving church members and others an opportunity to submit their questions to Pastor Nick about life, family, culture, ministry, etc. (and what the Bible has to say about such things).

If you are unable to join us on Wednesday evenings, we invite you to listen to the summaries of Pastor Nick’s responses to the questions submitted to him each week. These are available on the free MyRichland App, and you can also listen to them by clicking the links below.

Episode 01 – Creation, Sin & God’s Plan

Episode 02 – What does the Bible say about suicide?

Episode 03 – Favorite Bible Verse & Characters

Episode 04 – How do you start a conversation about Jesus?

Questions about Richland Baptist Church or want to submit a question of your own? Please contact us.
