We hope you will join us this coming Sunday and Wednesday (and every Sunday and Wednesday). Below is our weekly lineup.

Sundays:

9:30 a.m. – Family Groups 
–Family groups are Bible study fellowships for all ages – children, youth and adults. Nursery is included for infants and toddlers, too. We consider family groups to be an essential ministry for discipleship and relationships.

10:40 a.m. – Morning Worship Service
–Morning worship is an essential time of growing in God’s Word together. It’s that time of the week when most of our church family is all together for the purpose of worshiping our Lord and building up His body. For those who are interested, we also provide nursery (toddlers and infants) and children’s ministry (kindergarten and below) during our morning worship services. Currently, Pastor Nick’s sermon series is “Discipleship 101” from the Gospel of Mark.

6:00 p.m. – Life on Mission
–Life on Mission is our Sunday evening worship service with discussion on how we can apply what we’re learning on Sundays to our daily lives and understand how to better live our lives on mission for God.

Wednesdays:

5:45 p.m. – Evening Meal
–Our Wednesday evening meal is a great time of fellowship and encouragement. Everyone is invited to join us for great food and fun together.

6:30 p.m. – Prayer and Bible Study / TeamKID / Youth Group
–With ministries for all ages (both children and adults), Wednesday evenings provide a great recharge for the middle of the week. The events include our adults’ prayer meeting and Bible study (from 6:30 – 7:30), youth group (from 6:15 – 7:30 for grades 6-12), and TeamKID (from 6:15 – 7:30 for all children who are elementary-aged and below). Currently during the adults’ Bible study time, Nick is doing “Ask the Pastor,” answering various questions about family, life, culture and ministry from a biblical perspective.

Yesterday morning was “Youth Sunday,” when several youth served our church family during our morning worship service. Greeting, ushering, praying, singing, and sharing testimonies, our youth did a great job helping to lead us in worship.

If you missed our morning worship service yesterday, you missed Ron Forbis share a powerful testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. Ron not only talked about Jesus’ ongoing faithfulness in his life; he also challenged each of us to respond to Jesus. What will your response be?

Each Wednesday evening, our church has activities for all ages, including supper at 5:45 and prayer meeting and Bible study for adults. Currently, we are continuing Ask the Pastor during our adults’ Bible study time.

At the beginning of our worship service yesterday morning, we had the privilege of hearing Sierra Malone’s testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, followed by witnessing her public profession of faith through believer’s baptism. Praise the Lord!

This coming Saturday, September 15th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Richland will be hosting a church-wide yard sale. There is a great variety of items for sale, and all proceeds will go to the youth and children’s ministry. Seriously, we have something(s) for everyone!

Please join us any time Friday evening (6:30 – 9:00 p.m.) and/or Saturday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) at Southside Baptist Church (395 Country Meadows in Fulton) for our Grand Crossings Baptist Association’s Annual Meeting and Spiritual Health Conference. Greg Ammons, Pastor of FBC Garland, TX, will be preaching messages on service, worship, failure and conquering. This event is free and includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

On Sunday evening, we had our annual back-to-school ice cream social. After a time of corporate worship, we handed out gifts to all students, school faculty and staff, and had a time of prayer for them. Then, ice cream! We all gathered for a great time of ice cream sundaes, desserts and fellowship. What a great time with church family and guests!
