0

We’re less than a week away from our regular Wednesday evening activities resuming. While 412 Group and our adults’ prayer and Bible study meet year-round, some of our other Wednesday evening activities break for the summer months. Our free weekly meal and age-graded activities resume on August 23rd.

Do you ever find yourself struggling with discouragement, exhaustion and/or stress in the midst of a busy week? Or, do you simply find yourself struggling spiritually, regardless of how your week is going? Joining Richland for our Wednesday evening activities is a great way to get encouraged, challenged, sharpened and equipped to continue your daily journey in the faith.

And, if you are already doing well, Wednesday evenings are a great time to be a blessing and encouragement others who might be struggling. Please make plans to join us.

Here’s the basic rundown:

5:45 – 6:15 p.m. – Evening Meal
–Our Wednesday evening meal is a great time of fellowship and encouragement. Everyone is invited to join us for great food and fun together.

6:15 – 7:30 p.m. – TeamKID & Youth Group
–TeamKID (separate groups for nursery, preschool/kindergarten, and elementary (1st – 5th grade)) has a great time each week with games, missions and Bible study. Also, 412 Group (students in grades 6-12) meets for games, fellowship and Bible study.

6:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Adults’ Prayer and Bible Study
–Our weekly adults’ gathering focuses on praying for needs both inside and outside our church family, followed by a group Bible study. Currently, we are studying what God’s Word says about what a healthy church is.

If you have any questions, want more information or want to learn more about serving in one of our Wednesday evening ministries, please contact us.

Sunday was our big family celebration for Vacation Bible School. It was a great day of family groups, worship, lunch, games and fellowship. In fact, some people stayed until after 5 p.m. because so much fun was being had. Below are the videos from the VBS program before our morning worship service, followed by several pictures from VBS and the Sunday afternoon celebration.

Vacation Bible School

VBS is just a few days away, as we start Sunday evening at 5:00!

Searching the visible. Discovering the invisible. That’s this year’s VBS motto. Jesus is the image of the invisible God, and we pray that He will reveal Himself to many children and their families this summer! The dates are July 23-27 (Sunday – Thursday, 5-8 p.m.). We hope your kids will join us and that you will consider volunteering. Then, our annual VBS Family Celebration will be Sunday, July 30 at 10:40 a.m. (with lunch and carnival to follow).

Discover the incredible mysteries of the final frontier—right from your own backyard. Your telescope becomes a portal through which you encounter amazing and wonderful things designed by a Creator who is even bigger than the vastness of His creation. But the most amazing wonder to be discovered truly boggles the mind. The God who created everything there is—the knowable and the unknowable, the visible and the invisible—wants a relationship with you! And from the very beginning, God had a plan to restore the relationship He knew we would break.

Will you join us for VBS week and celebration Sunday?

Supper will be served for participating children and volunteers each evening at 5, followed by the VBS evening program (games, activities, music, missions and Bible study) from 5:30 – 8. VBS is for children grades pre-school (potty-trained and at least four years old) through sixth grade (those who just completed sixth grade and are going into seventh grade). For more information and/or for pre-registration, please contact us.

During our worship service Sunday morning, we had the great privilege of Jacob Ellis sharing his testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and following the Lord in obedience by being baptized. If you missed it, check it out! You can watch the video below or listen to the audio HERE. Also, please share Jake’s story with others who might find this challenging, encouraging and uplifting. To God be the glory!

Sunday, July 16th – “The Need for Repentance” (Zephaniah 2)

Growing Up is the initial book our Discipleship Accountability Groups have been using during their weekly meetings for prayer, accountability and discipleship.

During our Sunday morning worship service, Josh Bertram (our Director of Youth and Family Ministry) shared his testimony of saving faith in Jesus Christ and the important role of ongoing discipleship in his life. We pray you are encouraged as you listen to his story and are compelled to prioritize personal discipleship in your daily life.
