Please make plans to join us for a new sermon series called The Creed: What We Believe, beginning Sunday, April 9 during our morning worship celebration at 10:40.

This nine-week series examines the historic Apostles’ Creed. The Apostles’ Creed is an ecumenical creed, with Christians from nearly every branch of the faith agreeing with its contents. But it is more than a historic document; it is an accurate representation of our faith. In many ways, this is Christianity 101. “The Creed” will not only empower us to know what we believe, but also offer confidence by detailing the foundations for that belief.

Here is the planned schedule for the nine weeks of this series.

Sunday, April 9 – “The Creed Comes from the Bible” (Jude 3; 2 Timothy 3:10-17; Proverbs 22:6)

Sunday, April 16 – “God Created Everything from Nothing” (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-18)

Sunday, April 23 – “Jesus Is the Foundation” (Luke 6:46-49)

Sunday, May 7 – “Jesus Died for Our Sins” (Hebrews 10:1-12)

Sunday, May 14 – “Jesus Lives” (Luke 24:1-12)

Sunday, May 21 – “Jesus Is at God’s Right Hand” (Luke 24:44-53)

Sunday, May 28 – “God is Triune” (Romans 8:31-35)

Sunday, June 4 – “The Church Is a Gift & a Necessity” (Hebrews 10:19-25)

Sunday, June 11 – “Christians Are Forgiven and Live Forever” (1 Corinthians 15:42-57)

As always, you are invited to join us not only for our morning worship celebration but for all of our services and activities. If you have any questions or prayer requests, please let us know.
