Starting next week, join us for our new time – Tuesday nights at 6:30!

Because we believe studying God’s Word is essential for growth in the Christian faith and because we need one another in the body of Christ, we love getting together for Bible study. Going through different books of the Bible together, our men gather in the fellowship hall on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 to drink coffee, pray together, fellowship with one another and study the Word.

We hope you can join us this evening (and every Wednesday evening) for supper at 5:45. Delicious food and fellowship with each other is always a blessing, and we would love to have more people join us. After the evening meal and fellowship time end at 6:30, we have prayer and Bible study for the adults, as well as Kids Club and MAG for the children and youth. Our passion is the GOSPEL. Our church is our FAMILY. Our world is our MISSION. When our students, as well as anyone else, trust in Jesus Christ and believe the gospel message, we want them to get plugged in to the church family in order to grow in their faith. A true sign of that growth is a love for the nations – a desire to be on mission with God. That’s why Mission Action Group (MAG) exists. We long to see our students love God and love people – to be a Mission-in-Action Group!

MAG meets Sunday mornings at 9:30 for Bible study and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 (after our 5:45 evening meal) to help with our children’s ministry. Like everyone else, we also encourage our youth to join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:40 and Sunday evenings at 6:00.

We recognize that in an ideal world, youth ministry would not exist. Rather, children would learn from their parents how to love and follow Jesus and would then come as families to worship the Lord together with the church. Unfortunately, though, we do not live in an ideal world. For that reason, MAG is an outlet for junior high and high school students to learn God’s Word, grow in their faith, hang out with other Christians, serve others and be around good role models.

Ultimately, our prayer is that our students AND their families will get involved with the church and grow in the gospel together. If you would like to volunteer with MAG, have questions or want more information, please contact us.

Well, we hoped this wouldn’t be the case, but because of the winter weather advisory in effect, our meetings and service are canceled for this evening, Sunday March 2. Please stay warm, and if you absolutely have to get out in this cold mess, be careful. God bless you this week!

We ARE still on for Sunday School (9:30) and worship (10:40) this morning, so we hope to see you here. While we understand some of our elderly folks might not feel safe getting out in the cold weather, we certainly did not want to cancel for those who do believe they are able to come. So, be wise and do what you are able to do. If you do get out this morning, please drive safe, as always, and dress warmly. Hope to see you soon!

Richland Baptist Church loves children and loves families. We long for children to love and follow Jesus and grow in their faith in Him.

To challenge children to trust the gospel and learn God’s Word, we offer Sunday School classes, Children’s Church for ages 3-6 during our morning worship services, Kids Club on Wednesday nights and Vacation Bible School every summer. Along with studying God’s Word together, Kids Club is a time when the children do Bible Drill, Wednesday night service projects and have a lot of fun together.

For parents with younger children, we also offer nursery during our Sunday services. While some parents choose to keep their young children with them during worship, the nursery is available for those who are interested.

In Richland Baptist Church, we believe growing in our Christian faith best happens as a faith family by God’s grace. After someone believes the GOSPEL and puts his or her faith in Jesus Christ, the next step is learning and growing together in the faith as a part of the church FAMILY. Sunday School is such a great outlet for that growth to take place and move people along to be on MISSION with God.

While some people might think Sunday School is just for children, we are convinced that learning God’s Word and growing closer to Him is a lifelong process. Thus, we encourage everyone, no matter your age, background or knowledge, to plug in to a Sunday School class.

Richland Baptist Church offers Sunday School classes for all ages:

Ages 3 – Kindergarten Class
Grades 1-3 Class
Grades 4-6 Class
Grades 7-12 Class (MAG – Mission Action Group)
Young Adults’ Class
Adult II Class
Senior Women’s Class

Nursery is provided for children under age 3. The nursery, children’s classes, youth group and young adults’ class all meet downstairs, while the other adults’ class (chapel) and senior women’s class (fellowship hall) meet on the main floor. If you have any questions or want more information, please contact us. We pray the Lord will lead you to get involved with Sunday School ministry, too!

Today’s Recycled Teenagers Luncheon is canceled. Hope to see you tomorrow evening for our evening meal, prayer and Bible study!

As of right now, our Valentine’s Dinner scheduled for Saturday evening at 6:30 is still on. If we have to cancel the dinner, you will find the update here on our website.
