This Saturday (May 2nd) is our annual church work day. There is a lot of work that needs to be done, both inside and outside the church building. Whether you are a heavy lifter, a detailed cleaner, a helpful organizer or a wise supervisor, we need your help. We have plenty of work for everyone who is willing to serve.

Beginning at 8 a.m., we will be working all day, so even if you can only help for a short time, please plan on joining us. If you have any questions or want more information, please contact us.

For those who are here and helping, lunch will be available and served around noon.

A few weeks ago, Katie Humphreys shared her testimony on life-changing giving during our Sunday morning worship service. Many people were challenged and encouraged by this testimony, so we asked if she would share this again on video, so those who were not here could watch and listen. We pray God uses this testimony to bless you and lead you to walk more faithfully with Him.

Please join us Friday evening for our monthly men’s ministry fellowship. We’ll be eating supper and watching a movie together. If you are able to join us, please RSVP by Friday morning, so we know how much food to prepare. Hope to see you Friday!

Although it’s usually referred to as our Valentine’s Dinner because of the time of year we have had it in the past, this banquet is not just for couples. All are welcome to attend our Annual Spring Banquet for some great food and fellowship. This year’s banquet is this Saturday (April 18) at 5:30 p.m. and will also include a team trivia competition hosted by Brendan Borman.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by calling (573-642-2556) or contacting us by  Wednesday (April 15). Those who want to come but need help with transportation can let us know, as we will have a couple drivers picking up those unable to drive themselves.

This Sunday, April 5th, is Resurrection Sunday (Easter). Yes, it is the day we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. Truly, we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord every single day, but Easter Sunday is the day the Church rejoices together in remembrance of the victory over death by the King of kings and Lord of lords.

If you do not have a church family, we would like to invite you to join us this Sunday (and every Sunday) to celebrate our Savior and build up His body. We have Family Groups for all ages at 9:30 a.m., followed by Worship at 10:40 a.m.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). Will you believe, live and proclaim the gospel with us?

During our Sunday morning worship service yesterday, Cheryl Rohrbach shared a powerful testimony about the joy of giving. If you missed this personal story of humor, obedience and faithfulness, we encourage you to listen. You will certainly be challenged.

Please join us on Sunday evenings for “Life on Mission.” Seeking to worship the Lord together and prepare ourselves for a week of living on mission for God, we encourage you to join us each week at 6:00. This month, we also have some special events on Sunday evenings.

This coming Sunday, March 8, will be our church family movie night with a soup & sandwich supper at 5:00, followed by the movie End of the Spear at 6:00. This movie is the true story of a tribesman named Mincayani and five young missionaries, among them Jim Elliot and Nate Saint, who are speared to death by the Waodani, Mincayani’s tribe, in 1956. Then a series of events unfold to change the lives of not only the slain missionaries’ families, but also Mincayani and his people.

The following Sunday, March 15, we will have our special Bible Drill service at 6:00. Please be here to support our children and youth who have been working hard to memorize and meditate on the Word of God.

All adults are welcome to attend our Annual Winter Banquet for some great food and fellowship. This year’s banquet was scheduled for this Saturday, February 21 at 5:30 p.m. Due to inclement weather, however, the banquet has been postponed until Spring.

We will now have the banquet Saturday, April 18 at 5:30 p.m.
